Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance celebrated 10 years of its program with a show titled "Together We" in February. About 70 students and alumni participated in "Together We," a performance that takes place in conjunction with TROY's annual Day of Dance, in which dance students participate in masterclasses with professional working dance alumni. The show ran Feb. 21-23 and Feb. 24.

TROY is pleased to announce students who have been named to the Provost's List for the Spring Semester and Term 4 of the 2018/2019 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65 qualify for the Provost's List. The Spring Semester includes students at the Troy, Ala., campus. Term 4 includes students at TROY's campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Ala., along with locations outside of Alabama and online.

Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0 qualify for the Chancellor's List. The Fall Semester includes students at the Troy, Ala., campus. Term 2 includes students at TROY's campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Ala., along with locations outside of Alabama and online.

Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance presented its Fall Dance show in November. About 70 students participated in "Art in Motion," a collaborative effort that stemmed from the inspiration of both artists and dancers as they worked alongside one another to create a unique dance concert. The show ran Nov. 8-11 and included an art display that ran through Nov. 14.

Samford University releases dean's lists after the close of the fall and spring semesters each academic year. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.
